A Dream Kitchen (Or Two)
Anyone Who Enjoys Cooking Dreams About A Gourmet Kitchen Like This One
It began with pulling out years of saved magazine clippings of special kitchen features, then designing a kitchen around those features.
Each drawer and cabinet door are installed with hydraulic closure hardware. No more slamming doors in this kitchen.
Every lower cabinet is designed with two pullout drawers for ease and convenience. Nothing gets pushed to the back that is difficult to see and retrieve.
Entire kitchen is wrapped in a soapstone countertop. It not only looks grand, but is very durable and easy to clean.
Two glass-front cabinets with decorative ribbed glass give a sparkle among the warm wood cabinets.
A small bookshelf built as an end cap to the first section of cabinets is home to the favorite cookbooks.
The pull up stand mixer cabinet:
When it’s time to bake cookies that requires lots of cookie dough, this is the standard. It’s always hard to find a place to store a stand mixer that is convenient to get out and then to put up. They are very heavy, so this cabinet becomes a great solution to enjoying the mixer more often.
The cookie sheets and cooling racks are stored in this sectioned cabinet placed near to the oven for easy access.
Spices are well organized in this pullout spice rack. You can see what you have and know where to find it within arm’s reach of the cook top.
The ice machine is conveniently built-in to the island for everyone to fill their own glass, or to fill an ice bucket.
The hammered copper farmhouse sink is a jewel set in the soapstone countertop. A companion hammered copper prep sink in the island gives a great option for a helper in the kitchen.
All faucets and cabinet hardware are oil-rubbed bronze to go along with the antique hammered copper finish and wood tones.
The built-in island planter gives the luxury of green plants or 6” potted florals that are changed out with the seasons. It has a drain line into the ice machine drain.
The conveniently located wine rack built-in to the island makes it easy for you or your guests to select the perfect bottle of wine for the occasion.
The quality of the Viking Professional Series appliances live up to their name.
The 27” convection microwave is built in to the end of the island across from the sink.
A 36”-4 burner propane gas cooktop with grill is great every day, but especially when it is too cold outside to grill.
A Gaggenau brand 12” electric deep fryer is built into the cabinet next to the cooktop. Now this is a fun appliance – from french fries to funnel cakes! The family’s favorite!
The 30” Dual electric and convection oven is perfect for large batch baking.
The Fisher-Paykel Dish Drawer with cabinet front has plenty of room for daily dishes.
The Dacor brand 24” warming drawer is a favorite appliance. It is used every day to warm plates before a meal, keep food warm if someone is late, and even proofs your yeast breads and rolls.
Custom cabinet panels give the JennAire Refrigerator and freezer the look of a built-in cabinet.
